Hammer Pulverizer Machine Manufacturing in Bharuch Gujarat, India
A hammer pulverizer (or hammer mill pulverizer) is an industrial grinding machine designed to crush, grind, and reduce bulk solid materials—such as PVC granules, minerals, chemicals, agricultural products, and pigments—into fine powder or uniform mesh sizes.

Working Principle

Feeding: Material enters the grinding chamber through a feed hopper, often controlled by a vibratory or screw feeder for an even flow rate.

Impact Grinding: High-speed rotating hammers attached to a central shaft strike the incoming material in mid-air and crush it against internal liner plates.

Shearing & Attrition: Secondary size reduction occurs as particles collide with each other and shear against the housing wall lining.

Classification & Discharge: Particles small enough to pass through an internal screen mesh drop out into a cyclone collector or discharge hopper, while oversized particles remain in the chamber until sufficiently ground.

Key Components

Feed Hopper: Receives raw material and regulates the input rate.

Rotor Assembly: The central rotating shaft holding rigid or swinging hardened steel hammers operating at high RPMs.

Crushing Chamber & Liners: Heavy-duty enclosure lined with wear-resistant plates (such as manganese steel or hardened alloys) to absorb impact.

Screen Mesh / Grates: Intersecting perforated plates at the bottom or sides that dictate final output particle size.

Blower & Cyclone Separator: Uses air currents to pull pulverized powder away from the chamber into a dust-free pneumatic collection system.

Control Panel: Regulates drive motor speed, feed rate, and safety cut-offs.

Key Applications

Plastics: Pulverizing rigid PVC scrap, regrind, HDPE, and LLDPE pellets into masterbatch powder (as highlighted in PVC hammer pulverizers by manufacturers like Raj Industries).

Chemicals & Minerals: Fine grinding of gypsum, limestone, chalk, pigments, and chemical salts.

Food & Agribusiness: Processing grains, spices, sugar, animal feed, and botanical roots.

Recycling: Shredding electronic waste, rubber, and waste boards for secondary material processing.
